Hollywood Private Hospital (HPH) is seeking nurses to join our Gurney ward that offers one of the most comprehensive selections of surgical services in WA’s largest private hospital. The specialties encompass general surgical/Vascular/Infectious diseases patients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INVOLVE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Delivery of high-quality patient care to a diverse range of acute care patients.
  • Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients
  • Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of Hollywood Private Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
  • Casual positions: Ability to work across a 7-day rotational roster.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with recent experience.

  • Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
  • A minimum of 3 years post registration experience, including 3 years’ experience in General Surgical ward, experience in Vascular specialty desirable
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Understanding scope of practice
  • Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge / experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators and other quality projects
