THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Registered Nurses to support our Hastings Ward at Port Macquarie Private Hospital. You will be providing inpatient care for a diverse range of orthopaedic, general, urology and gynaecology surgical patients, delivering patient-focussed, high quality postoperative care. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years in a postgraduate experience
• Previous experience working across a surgical ward
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
• Ability to work a flexible rotating roster

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
