Registered Nurse Full Time | Permanent | Flexible Rosters Provided in Advance | Competitive Pay + Penal Rates, including carpark | Support to Grow Your Nursing Career. Locations: Local Doctors Dawson Road, Ōtara. Local Doctors is part of Tāmaki Health, delivering accessible, community based primary care across Aotearoa. Our clinics are designed to provide practical, timely care for the communities we serve, with a strong focus on continuity, equity, and day to day patient outcomes. About the role This is a clinical nursing role across busy general practice and urgent care settings. You will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based care, supporting both booked and walk in patients with a range of acute and ongoing health needs. This position requires to work PM and weekend shifts.  Rosters are provided six weeks in advance to support planning and balance. What you will do * Perform accurate nursing assessments and provide safe, effective interventions. * Deliver care that is evidence based, culturally appropriate, and patient centred. * Carry out clinical procedures such as wound care, IV cannulation, and immunisations. * Support urgent presentations and acute care needs within the clinic. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation * Provide health education and support patients in understanding their care. * Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team. What you must have * Current New Zealand Registered Nurse practising certificate. * Experience in urgent care, emergency, or acute nursing settings. * Strong clinical assessment and decision making skills. * Ability to manage a range of presentations in a fast paced environment. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients. * Confidence using clinical systems and maintaining accurate records. * Legal right to work in New Zealand.
