Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement Education Degree Major And/Or Associate's Degree Nursing License/Registration License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State And/Or Registered Nurse Certification Certification And/Or Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross And NIHSS Work Experience and Additional Information · Clinical Nurse - ER: One (1) year experience, Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) · Clinical Nurse- NICU: Two (2) years' experience, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification. · Clinical Nurse- Telemetry/PCU: New grads accepted · Clinical Nurse- Labor & Delivery: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification. · Clinical Nurse - Medical/Surgical: New grads accepted. · Clinical Nurse - Surgical Services: Two (2) years' operating room experience, circulating. · Clinical Nurse- PACU: One (1) year experience in critical care · Clinical Nurse- Ambulatory Surgery: One (1) year experience in Surgical Medical Nursing, Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) · Clinical Nurse- ICU: One (1) year experience · Clinical Nurse- Wound Care: One (1) year experience. · Clinical Nurse IV: IV Certification, Certified Registered Nurse (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) · Clinical Nurse Dialysis: One (1) year experience in Critical Care. · Clinical Nurse: Two (2) years' experience in Cardiac Vascular OR (CVOR)
