Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity currently exists for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our Primary and Community Health team at Nyngan MPS. The successful applicant will possess a patient centred approach to care delivery and a willingness to develop skills within the Child and Family health field within our facility, where supported by an experienced Child and Family Health Nurse you will complete a postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing.
As custodians of the next generation in our region, our Child and Family Health nurses play a key role in the core goal of our Health District – healthier rural people and thriving communities. You’ll be in early contact with our families, providing services which may include comprehensive family assessment, monitoring growth and development of young children, education and support for parents, immunisations and referrals when necessary.
