ABOUT THE ROLE

If you have a passion to for the next generation, are a Registered Nurse or Midwife and a team player, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
In this role, you will join the Dubbo Primary & Community Health as a Transitional Child & Family Health Nurse. You will be supported to complete a post-graduate qualification in Child & Family Health Nursing with on-the-job learning opportunities and mentorship by experienced Child and Family Health Nurses.
As custodians of the next generation in our region, our Child and Family Health nurses play a key role in the core goal of our Health District – healthier rural people and thriving communities. You’ll be in early contact with our families, providing services which may include comprehensive family assessment, monitoring growth and development of young children, education and support for parents, immunisations and referrals when necessary.
