Description Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Trauma Operating Room for a permanent opportunity in Miami, Florida. In this role, the Trauma OR Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients during surgical care. The RN provides care through the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members. This position requires strong clinical judgment, trauma experience, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment. The Trauma OR RN supports high-acuity surgical cases and ensures adherence to established clinical policies, patient safety standards, and perioperative best practices. This role is ideal for nurses with prior trauma or acute care operating room experience who thrive in high-intensity surgical settings. Employment Details: This is a permanent, full-time position. Night shifts with rotating weekends are required. Compensation: Hourly compensation is based on years of experience. Hourly Pay Range: $39.57 – $53.34 per hour (up to 17+ years of experience) Requirements Active Florida Registered Nurse license or valid multistate compact license required (subject to Florida licensure requirements) Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Minimum of 2 years of recent trauma OR or acute care operating room experience REQUIRED Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date Strong perioperative, trauma, and critical thinking skills Ability to function effectively in high-acuity surgical environments Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
