What are we looking for?
Qualified as Registered General Nurses (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN)
Compassionate, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering person-centred care
Experienced in nursing home care (preferred but not essential)
A positive outlook and warm personality- essential
Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies- essential
Prior experience with writing care plans and carrying out risk assessments- essential
AS A UNIT LEADAT OUR HOME, YOUR ROLE MAY INVOLVE:
To take the lead in ensuring outstanding levels of clinical care are provided to residents at all times.
Offer supervision, support and training to Nurse and Care Assistant colleagues, whilst at the same time ensuring at all times a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors.
Applicants should be dedicated, proactive and trustworthy RGN’s or RMN’s, with proven supervisory experience and either experience of, or a keen interest in, working in a nursing home environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as are an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work and a keen interest in the professional development of themselves and others.
Qualified Nurse with NMC registration.
Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, including: completing risk assessments, staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, medication administration, person-centred care planning, audits, liaising with outside professionals, etc.
