Responsible for the overall operation of assigned unit. Assist DON in planning and directing day-to-day functions of the unit. Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules. Participate in facility surveys and quality assurance program. Respond to all falls and changes in condition. Communicate with physicians and resident families. Provide direct nursing care as needed.
