About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality clinical care that promotes client self-determination, enhances resilience, and improves overall quality of life for both individuals and their family carers. Your compassionate, person-centred approach will help our clients maintain their independence and social connections. We are looking for an experienced nurse who thoroughly enjoys nursing and who has a passion for providing exceptional care. As the successful candidate, you will provide effective clinical nursing care that enhances client self-determination, capacity, and resilience as well as improves social engagement and quality of life for the individual and family carer. This is a full-time position (part-time considered), required shifts are between Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (no WEEKENDS). Must be willing to travel to Menindee, Ivanhoe and Wilcannia to see Uniting clients when needed. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 1 year Nursing experience in aged or community care(local or international considered). You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold. You’ll be committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice. Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree with current registration (AHPRA).
