Your part in The Wesley Hospital You will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to patients and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes for those receiving active treatment and as well as end of life palliative care. As a Registered Nurse in Palliative and General Medicine you’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care to our patients by working collaboratively with your nursing and multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills. What makes a difference for us? · Minimum of two years plus experience in a hospital setting, beneficial to have palliative care, cancer care & general medicine experience. · Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration · Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements · Desire for ongoing professional development · Availability to work across a fortnightly rotating roster which includes night & weekend shifts · Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment What makes a difference for you?
