Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions while communicating changes to the care team. Administer medications and treatments as ordered and ensure patient understanding and safety. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teammates to coordinate and support patient care plans. Educate patients and families on care needs, discharge planning, and health management. Additional responsibilities may vary based on department and unit specialty Qualifications Associates Degree in Nursing Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred One (1) year of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency preferred Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing. Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Microsoft Office – basic computer skills. Customer/patient focused. Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
