This role requires proficiency in starting IVs and delivering high-quality nursing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide nursing care to patients in pre-op and post-op settings, ensuring comfort and safety. * Start and manage intravenous lines efficiently and safely. * Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition. * Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. * Adapt quickly to the demands of a fast-paced clinical environment. * Educate patients and their families regarding pre-op and post-op care instructions. QUALIFICATIONS * Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. * Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. * Demonstrated experience in pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. * Proficient in starting and managing IVs. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
