Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Vascular Access Nurse to join our team and make a difference for our patients and our community. This position performs placement of peripherally inserted central lines (PICC) and Midlines under the order of a physician. Performs other procedures related to PICC management including PICC removal, PICC declotting, dressing application/care and troubleshooting. Assesses and identifies patients for whom a PICC is indicated. Participates in performance improvement activities related to PICC practices and performs other duties as assigned. All 8 hour shifts. Every other weekend rotation. Required Qualifications: Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree program in Nursing 2 years of direct patient care in a med/surg setting in acute care 2 years of experience in infusion delivery Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers Preferred Qualifications: Certified Infusion RN (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certification (VA-BC) Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
