In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our patients' recovery journeys, helping them regain independence and transition safely back into the community. You will manage a diverse patient load, combining acute medical nursing with goal-directed rehabilitative care. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical care to acute medical and rehabilitation patients. Coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized care and rehabilitation plans. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Discharge Planners) to achieve patient goals. Administer medications, manage wound care, and perform comprehensive clinical assessments. Provide empathetic support, education, and advocacy for patients and their families. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring a positive, collaborative attitude and a genuine passion for sub-acute and restorative care. Registration: Current, unconditional registration as an RN with AHPRA. Experience: Prior experience in an acute medical, surgical, or rehabilitation setting (highly regarded, but transitional support is available). Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, sharp assessment skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with allied health teams.
