POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Provides professional nursing care to a specific group of patients, in accordance with the standards of nursing practice set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Trillium Health Partners

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of General Surgery Inpatient Surgical experience and/or more than 5 years of Experience in Multi-Specialty Nursing, Emergency or ICU is required
  • Ability to think critically and effectively in order to prioritize needs with high flow volumes, in emergency situations
  • Highly effective decision making, problem solving and organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and writtenPositive attendance and work record essential
