Electus Healthcare has an exciting NEW recruitment opportunity available for a Registered Home Manager. This opportunity is for our brand-new, state of the art care home in Ravenhill, which will be offering specialist mental health services for 49 residents across 4 units.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and has previous experience in managing a nursing home. Ideally you will have undertaken mental health training or have mental health care experience in a care home or hospital setting.
The Registered Manager, will lead and manage all aspects of the service, deliver excellent levels of care for residents and drive continuous improvements.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop professionally within their career and gain experience in commissioning a new service.
As Home Manager you will be supported by a dedicated Operations Manager and Quality Manager, as well as other heads of department within the group. We are a strong close knit team, who work together to ensure everyone feels supported in their role.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA- EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

  • Previous Nursing Home Manager Experience
  • RMN/RGN qualified with active UK PIN Number
  • Mental Health Care Experience/ training – highly desirable
  • Excellent working knowledge of regulatory standards
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Previous Experience in dealing with RQIA
  • Understanding and Compassionate nature
  • Commitment to delivering high quality care
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of quality, person-centered care
  • Manage budgets and the financial effectiveness of the setting
  • Recruit, train, manage and supervise staff
  • Implement and manage standards of patient care
  • To be responsible and accountable for efficient and effective leadership to all care staff
  • Ensuring RQIA compliance
  • Ensuring all aspects of the nursing home environment facilitate exceptional care in line with registered bodies and infection control
  • Ensure the safe management of medication in accordance with company policies and current legislation
