QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (travel required)
  • Experience in MVA rehabilitation, workplace accommodation assessments, and/or return-to-work programming is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – MOBILE COMMUNITY ROLE (FEMALE CLIENT CARE)

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Community Occupational Therapist for a mobile role providing in-home and on-site services across ,Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Durham Region and surounding Areas.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with female clients requiring personal care and rehabilitation services.
Please Note: This position requires a female Occupational Therapist as a bona fide occupational requirement (BFOR) under the Ontario Human Rights Code to ensure privacy, dignity, and cultural sensitivity for our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct functional abilities evaluations, cognitive assessments, and ergonomic assessments in community settings
  • Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation and return-to-work plans
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, when required
  • Collaborate with clients, families, insurers, legal representatives, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
