Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered/Resident Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. As a physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or other physical conditions that limit their movement and mobility. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities to improve their physical function and alleviate pain.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
  • Valid provincial license or registration to practice as a physiotherapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong Hands on Manual skills
  • Knowledge of WSIB, MVA and Universal software
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: $39.00-$51.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week

Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients’ physical condition and medical history
  • Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and goals
  • Implementing treatment interventions, which may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education
  • Monitoring patients’ progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Providing guidance and support to patients and their families/caregivers
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records as per CPO standards on Universal software
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
