POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our great company culture! The ideal candidate is dedicated, compassionate, and motivated to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives This role will involve working with a diverse caseload, including neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic is still under construction and will open early - mid November!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Must also have malpractice/liability insurance.
  • Strong interest or experience in neurological rehabilitation is an asset
  • Excellent integrity, initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development. Must be willing to take the PWR!moves course if wanting to continue to work with patients with Parkinson’s Disease.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide hands-on physiotherapy, exercise prescription, and education
  • Work with patients recovering from neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, brain injury, MS, Parkinson’s) as well as orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, and the wider rehab team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (we have electronic charting).
  • Support patients in achieving their short- and long-term health goals
