POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a private practice setting, with a strong foundation in orthopedics. Specializations or experience in working with seniors, pediatrics, oncology, or sports rehabilitation will be considered a strong asset.
In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized rehabilitation programs, working closely with patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
• Current registration and good standing with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists (or eligibility for registration)
• Previous experience in a private practice orthopedic setting preferred
• Additional expertise in working with seniors, pediatrics, oncology, or sports rehabilitation considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of physiotherapy practices and medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to improving quality of life through rehabilitation services

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure optimal recovery outcomes
• Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle strategies to support long-term health
• Collaborate with physicians, other physiotherapists, and allied health professionals for integrated care
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards
