McKelvie Physiotherapy is excited to hire another Physiotherapist for our growing caseload! We focus on high quality, one-on-one sessions with our clients. We emphasize active therapy, longer appointment times, manual therapy and a focus on functional recovery.
At McKelvie Physiotherapy we are the leading experts in Vestibular Rehabilitation in the Durham region. We have a team highly trained and focus on vestibular health. While the candidate Physiotherapist does not need to be certified in this area, any training or interest in expanding to this field is a huge bonus!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid physiotherapy license in good standing with the CPO
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate a compassionate and patient approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence in clinical decision-making
  • Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life
    Schedule is flexible and fee for service split is dependant on experience and Vestibular rehab training.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $60.00-$90.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques to enhance recovery, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and self-management strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
