COMPANY OVERVIEW

OMNI Health and Rehab is a leading multidisciplinary healthcare clinic located in the heart of Milton, Ontario. As part of a modern medical building, we benefit from built-in physician referrals and collaborate closely with family physicians, specialists, and other allied health professionals. Our team is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care that maximizes functional outcomes and promotes long-term health.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist experienced in manual therapy and complex orthopedic rehabilitation. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for various patients, helping them restore mobility, reduce pain, and return to their daily activities. OMNI Health and Rehab offers you clinical freedom to treat according to your professional judgement, with no expectation to handle billing or administrative tasks related to extended health claims.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution in Canada.
  • Current registration with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists (OCP) and Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in an outpatient setting, with demonstrable expertise in manual therapy and complex orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Working knowledge of MVA (HCAI) and WSIB case coordination (e.g., intake protocols, reporting) is preferred—but not mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients, families, and referring physicians.
  • High degree of organizational skill and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise clinical judgment, and adapt treatment techniques to individual patient needs.
  • Certification or training in additional modalities (e.g., acupuncture, dry needling, concussion management) is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ musculoskeletal and neuromuscular impairments, including detailed orthopedic assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques (e.g., joint mobilizations, soft tissue release, Maitland/Mulligan methods) and evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.
  • Manage and treat complex orthopedic cases such as post-operative joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, ACL/MCL reconstructions, and chronic tendonopathies.
  • Provide guidance on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques.
  • Coordinate care with referring physicians, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other members of the care team to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary treatment.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical records, including detailed assessment notes, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain a working understanding of MVA and WSIB processes (e.g., reporting timelines, documentation requirements) to collaborate effectively with administrative staff when referrals originate from these sources—without performing claims processing yourself.
  • Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and continuing education opportunities in manual therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, and occupational injury management.
