SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery for individuals of all ages, including paediatrics and acute care patients. As a Physiotherapist, you will assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and quality of life.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Good knowledge of strength and conditioning principles is an asset
  • Interest in sport and fitness is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Asset: Certification in Acupuncture
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care (chiropractors, RMTs, kinesiologists, fitness trainers)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills.
