ABOUT US

Wilson Health Services is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team of highly professional practitioners. We have been serving the Cambridge, Guelph and Paris community’s health care needs for many years and are now expanding to Kitchener. Our modern facility is equipped with state of the art technologies to help our patients achieve optimal health. The team consists of a Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Registered Massage Therapists, Chiropodists, and a Naturopath.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree from a recognized Physiotherapy program
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Currently hold Professional/Malpractice liability insurance
  • Post graduate course or specializations an asset (SPC, FCAMP, Acupuncture)
  • Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) an asset
  • Past clinical experience is preferred but Physiotherapy residents are welcome
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word for Windows
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and capable of implementing both manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises for clients.
  • Ability to use clinical judgment and perform the physical demands of physiotherapy;
  • Must be able to provide through injury assessments, provide diagnosis, create treatment plans, execute and facilitate treatments and refer inter-clinic
  • Organized and able to manage and oversee physiotherapy assistants
  • Commitment to on-going learning and professional development
  • Must demonstrate exceptional client centered care, professionalism and firm desire to work collaboratively in an integrated multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Keen Interest in sports medicine, orthopaedics and sport injury rehabilitation
  • The ability to maintain and generate new referrals for the clinic
  • Professional, positive attitude, be passionate with strong work ethic and thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required
