Job Description: Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality care; Responsible and accountable for the provision of nursing care to an adult and seniors mental health population in accordance with the standards of nursing practice and evidenced based practice; Must be willing to work all shifts. Qualifications: A current annual certificate of competency with the College of Nurses of Ontario; Able to function to the full scope of practice as per CNO combined with sound patient care nursing skills required; Minimum of 1 year experience in an adult mental health hospital setting required; Medication Certificate and experience with administration of medication within the last year required; Patient physical assessment course required; Must have effective interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem solving skills; Reliable and flexible individual who is willing to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment; Positive attendance and work record essential; Must be available to work alternate weekends.
