QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), in good standing.
  • Up-to-date CPR certification and commitment to continuing education.
  • Experience or strong interest in dermatological procedures, foot care, aesthetic treatments, and/or weight management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset given our local community, though not mandatory champlainhealthline.ca.
  • Strong empathy, adaptability, and focus on holistic, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled, and reliable RPN to work alongside Nurse Practitioner Cara, our clinical psychologist, and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will support delivery of our multidisciplinary services, providing both direct patient care and assistance in specialized procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advanced Nursing Foot Care, including nail trimming, callous removal, corns, ingrown toenail bracing, and fungal toenail treatments.
  • Medical Aesthetic Services, such as neuromodulator (e.g., Botox/Dysport), dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, exosome therapies, Sculptra injections, and other aesthetic treatments.
  • Aid in Medical Weight Management under the guidance of our NP—coordinate patient intakes, track blood work, counsel on healthy living strategies, and support medication-assisted weight management programs.
  • Assist in general Medical Care, including patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, administering medications, immunizations, preparing treatment rooms, and facilitating referrals or diagnostic tests as directed.
  • Assist with Custom Orthotic Insoles and Compression Therapy, including 3D scans, mold preparations, and fitting of compression garments.
  • Uphold clinic protocols for patient intake, record-keeping, infection control, and ensuring a high standard of client-centered care.
