JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality nursing services. As an RPN, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care environments. REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Registered Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in acute care, long-term care, or home care settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), and medication administration protocols.
  • Critical care experience or familiarity with ICU/PICU settings is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions.
  • Strong assessment skills and the ability to perform physical examinations.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate patient conditions.
  • Provide direct patient care, including IV infusion, catheterization, and tube feeding.
  • Assist with diagnostic evaluations and perform basic life support as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility assistance.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
