About McCall Centre: McCall Centre is a 120-bed chronic care facility situated on the Queensway Health Centre campus. Position Summary Responsible and accountable for decisions and actions of the provision and management of nursing care for patients; Provides nursing assessment, contributes to the care plan development, provides goal oriented treatment/interventions, patient and family education and support to address medical, cognitive, emotional and self-care needs; Contributes to the development of a realistic discharge plan Acts as a coach/mentor/consultant and uses sound critical thinking skills which are key to achieving patient outcomes and facilitating team functions; Participates in program planning, continuous quality improvement and evaluation.
