JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality nursing services in various settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. The RPN will play a crucial role in supporting patients’ health and well-being through effective nursing practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Registered Practical Nurse license in accordance with province regulations.
  • Previous experience in nursing homes, hospitals, or acute care settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
