QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in a gerontological setting - preferred
• Initiative, creative, strong organizational skills, well developed communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills including counseling, conflict management, and problem solving
• Proven leadership ability
• Must be computer literate and experienced on Point Click Care, RAI-MDS would be a definite asset.
• Must be able to work independently and also be a strong team player
• Must be available for days, evenings and weekends
• First Aid/CPR
• Additional Certificates/Diplomas/Degrees in gerontology and other Health related education will be considered an asset.

Under the direction of Director of Care, this position will be responsible for the efficient operation of a resident focused care team.
