This position is caring for 1 child throughout the school day in Ridgetown. Shift is 8am-2:10pm, approx 31.25 hours weekly. You would meet this child at school and accompany them into school and assist as needed throughout the school day. Skills, basic care needs listed below.
FT staff receive a $50 monthly phone allowance and are eligible for benefits after 3 months..
Responsibilities: Trach care, suctioning, O2 monitoring and oxygen administration as well as gtube for meds and feeding. Liase with physician for orders
Must be able to provide multidimensional nursing assessments
RPN pay rate is $32/hr
Must have an RPN diploma, registered and in good standing with the CNO
TB test results from within 1 year
Police clearance from within 1 year
CPR certificate
* Understand your role as a nurse and the Protection of Privacy Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act, Consent, etc.
* Must be able to work independently with reliability and trustworthiness
* Demonstrate a commitment to continued learning and professional growth
