Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment. In this permanent position, the RPN will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Monitor and document residents’ conditions, reporting any changes promptly
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, PSWs, and allied health professionals
  • Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with LTC regulations, infection control practices, and safety standards
  • Participate in ongoing care planning, assessments, and quality initiatives

Job Qualifications:

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (LTC experience preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in long-term care
  • CPR certification (current)
  • Must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per LTC requirements
