POSITION SUMMARY
Join Quinte Health’s Surgical Unit as a dedicated nurse, where you’ll engage with a diverse range of patients, spanning medical, surgical, and palliative care needs. With a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, you’ll have the opportunity to provide personalized care in a supportive environment. Our unit boasts 28 beds, including two specialized palliative care suites, ensuring comprehensive end-of-life support.
Opportunities for career growth abound within our unit, with pathways to various roles including preceptor roles and opportunities to expand your knowledge of wound care. Success on Quinte 4 requires strong time management skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a willingness to seek guidance from PCL staff when needed.
