The Opportunity: The Tachick Lake Healing Centre provides high quality 24-hour a day, year-round, acute medically supervised withdrawal management and therapeutic residential services for adults (19+ years and older). Clients will be supported by a multidisciplinary team including addiction medicine specialist GPs/NPs, registered nurses, social workers, allied health professionals, cultural workers, and Elder(s) in Residence. * Provides holistic, culturally informed health care to adult patients in an acute withdrawal management setting. * Practices in accordance with all applicable standards of professional practice, scope of practice, and the code of ethics as established by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), as well as organizational policies and procedures. * Administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician, including oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications in accordance with LPN scope of practice, pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures. Range: The target hiring range for this position is $44.56 to $57.71 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
