We currently have several salaried permanent positions available across Australia for registered psychologists and clinical social workers who are are eligible for Medicare Provider. Psychologists and clinical social workers have a diverse and role, offering opportunity to assist clients who have complex barriers to employment by conducting assessments, undertaking a variety of therapeutic interventions, facilitating groups, and providing recommendations to appropriate vocational and non-vocational services. This is an onsite position. Key duties of the role include: Conduct thorough assessments of clients with a range of health and mental health complaints, disabilities and complex psychosocial barriers to employment; Offer person-centred counselling intervention as needed, utilising various psychological methodologies; Engage clients with additional external support services to help address barriers; Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases; Liaise with referring GPs, other medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of clients; and Provide training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological/psychotherapeutical services and procedures. Qualifications Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology and full registration with APHRA OR Relevant Tertiary Qualifications social work and clinical endorsement with AASW; Eligibility for Medicare provider number (assistance with application will be provided); Experience working within employment services highly regarded but not essential; Knowledge of psychology assessment and intervention strategies; Exceptional communication, rapport building skills and engagement; Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports; Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients; Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and Working with Children Check.
