Description

ARE YOU A PASSIONATE THERAPIST COMMITTED TO ETHICAL, EVIDENCE-BASED CARE?

Do you want to share your expertise and guide the next generation of psychologists?
At Summit Counselling Services, we are offering an exciting opportunity to shape your career on your own terms. This role allows you to balance your clinical work with supervising emerging therapists—while maintaining flexibility and autonomy over your schedule, your caseload, and the supervisees you support.
We are committed to fostering exceptional care and strong ethical practices among provisional psychologists by providing on-site supervision. To make the process smooth, we take care of all the backend work—onboarding, billing, booking—so you can focus on what matters most: supporting your clients and mentoring future therapists.
As part of our team, you’ll enjoy access to fully equipped offices, a dedicated marketing team, and reliable administrative support. Our St. Albert location features an on-site gym, daycare facilities, ample parking, and newly renovated offices. Our downtown Edmonton office, in the vibrant Brewery District, offers a collaborative team environment and a modern, comfortable workspace.
Our Mission
Summit Counselling Services is dedicated to delivering ethical, effective therapy while honoring clients as the experts in their own lives. For our contractors, we provide a supportive environment for authentic practice—with fair compensation, autonomy, and a voice for both clinicians and clients. As a supervisor, we’ll work with you to match supervisees to your specialties and passions, because the right fit matters most.

What You’ll Gain as Part of Our Team

  • Control over your schedule and shifts
  • Competitive compensation
  • Full administrative support for billing and booking
  • Ongoing professional development and team-building opportunities (including “learning lunches”)
  • Marketing support—so your shifts are filled and you can focus on therapy
  • Opportunities to facilitate workshops or groups, blending your passions with your practice
  • Facilities that accommodate certified animal-assisted therapy
  • No required time commitments outside of your scheduled shifts
  • Beautiful, fully furnished office spaces at both locations

Requirements & Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Psychologist with:

  • The ability to provide high-quality, ethical supervision
  • Broad expertise across modalities and experience working with diverse populations
  • A strong commitment to professional standards and ethical guidelines set by their college/association
  • A supportive, growth-minded approach to supervision
  • Leadership or team management experience (asset)
  • Willingness to provide on-site supervision and maintain hours at both locations
