The Brant Mental Health Solutions/Pathways To Hope team is seeking a Registered Psychotherapist to join our new location (Shoreline Wellness Centre) opening this winter in Kincardine!
The Brant Mental Health Solutions/Pathways To Hope Team is a group of mental and physical healthcare professionals with a mission to provide comprehensive client care to people of all ages, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and responding to the changing needs of the community. As a Registered Psychotherapist with us, you should have a passion for working with a variety of clients, and be able to implement a variety of modalities to support your clients.
The successful candidate will in our office providing both in person and virtual appointments.

EDUCATION / SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
  • Evidence of professional liability insurance
  • Experience working with different types of clients
  • Vulnerable Sector Screen

Responsibilities
  • Delivering quality counselling services both in-person and virtually, with a focus on in person services.
  • Collaborating with members of our team (including, Registered Social Workers, Behavioural Therapists, Registered Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Child and Youth Workers etc) to deliver comprehensive care and service coordination.
  • Collaborating with partner organizations as appropriate to address client goals and promote smooth transitions of care.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate electronic medical records through our software “Jane.”
  • Actively participating in program planning, quality improvement initiatives and meetings as required
  • Communicating effectively with the client and any caregivers, education teams etc as needed, and making sure that a clear plan of care has been communicated to the client.
