JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health care, particularly in working with couples. This role involves providing therapeutic support, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to client needs. Sessions can occur virtually from your home and in-person from our office in Lindsay, ON.

EXPERIENCE

• A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Registration with the CRPO or the OCSWSSW.
• Familiarity with case management is essential.
• Strong skills in data collection and research methodologies are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients is crucial.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families.
• Perform thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including case management documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and educators, to provide holistic care.
• Engage in ongoing research and data collection to enhance therapeutic practices and outcomes.
• Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
