JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for administering pulmonary function testing
Responsible for maintaining equipment, participating in quality assurance activities, ensuring continuing education and maintaining competence and professionalism relevant to current practice. Other duties as assigned.
Current Certificate of Registration in good standing of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario and current BCLS certificate. Minimum of 1-year recent experience would be an asset.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification as required by provincial regulations.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to respiratory therapy.
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques relevant to respiratory care.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress in accordance with hospital policies.
