Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept): As a Registered Respiratory Therapist on our Float Pool, you’ll be the go-to respiratory care expert — providing lifesaving treatments, mentoring the next generation, educating patients and families, and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to create stellar care plans. You’ll rock at: Delivering complex respiratory care, especially in high-stakes critical care settings. Leading patient and family education with empathy and clarity. Coaching and supporting new staff and students to grow professionally. What You Bring to the Table: Graduation from an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary program, Bachelor’s required. Current RRT license required. BLS from AHA required. ACLS certification required. NRP required. PALS required. At least 3 years of recent hands-on respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting — you know your stuff. Sharp critical thinking, top-notch communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare teams. Core Responsibilities You’ll Own: Provide outstanding patient assessments, education, and documentation — with heart. Manage ventilators, deliver therapies, assist in invasive procedures, and lead safety initiatives. Drive quality care and patient safety with a commitment to continuous improvement.
