POSITION SUMMARY

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions such as oxygen therapy, ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary diagnostics.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience in an acute care setting

• Assess and evaluate patients’ cardiopulmonary status through physical examination, diagnostic testing, and chart review.
• Develop and implement respiratory care plans tailored to patient conditions and physician directives.
• Administer therapeutic interventions including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway clearance techniques.
