- Recruit, coach, and motivate a skilled staff team with clear standards and accountability
- Drive quality assurance: audits, monitoring, feedback loops, action plans, and continuous improvement
- Build effective partnerships with external agencies, professionals, and families
- Manage referrals, placements, occupancy, and service performance against KPIs
This role would be ideal if you:
- Have proven experience managing Supported Accommodation or similar services for young people
- Bring strong safeguarding knowledge (incl. CCE/CSE and contextual safeguarding) and risk management
- Understand Ofsted inspection/QA requirements and what “Good” and above looks like
- Communicate calmly and credibly, with solid operational grip and team leadership
- Hold (or are willing to complete) the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Nice to have:
- Led services through Ofsted inspections/monitoring or quality assurance visits
