QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Registered and in good standing with OCSWSSW or CRPO
  • 2–3 years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience providing direct treatment and parent consultation
  • Familiarity with a range of therapeutic approaches (CBT, play-based therapy, etc.)
  • Experience working in private practice or clinic settings is an asset

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist with experience working with teens/kids with autism to join our in-person team starting in August/September 2025. This is a part-time position offering up to 20 hours/week, with an initial schedule of 5–15 hours/week in Fall 2025, building to 20+ hours if desired. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate and evidence-based care to children, youth, and their families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual therapy (and optionally group therapy) to children and teens
  • Offer support for clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, separation, or behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with caregivers and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, family-centered care
  • Maintain detailed, confidential clinical documentation in line with professional standards using Jane.app
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric mental health
  • Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations, typically done in-person or via conference call
