Description
We have a full-time position available for a Team Leader / Registered Kaiako to join our growing Westgate whānau, working alongside our smallest explorers. About us: At Busy Bees Early Learning Centre Westgate, our friendly kaiako foster a sense of belonging, trust, and understanding, ensuring that every child feels valued and included. We promote positive language and encourage happy children, building strong relationships and emotional well-being. We understand the demands of modern life, our flexible hours accommodate busy schedules, while our dietitian-approved menu ‘Nourish’ ensures our tamariki receive nutritious and delicious food, prepared fresh each day by our Centre Cook. About you: We are looking for a registered ECE teacher who is heart-centred, professional, and ready to make a difference. A recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification and a current New Zealand teacher registration. A warm and proactive communication style, with the ability to build deep, respectful relationships with our tamariki, whānau, and your colleagues. A deep understanding of Te Whāriki and the confidence to deliver high-quality, meaningful outcomes for all children. A genuine commitment to your own professional growth and a desire to see our community flourish. Why you’ll love it here: We offer full pay parity and a generous professional learning and development budget, where you choose your own PLD learning. Discounted childcare. A monthly wellbeing budget, EAP access, and covered costs for your annual flu vax and First Aid certification. You'll spend your days in a beautiful setting plus enjoy walks and excursions with our tamariki in our local Westgate community. Comprehensive induction, mentoring and coaching If you are ready to find your place in our beautiful Westgate whānau, we would love to hear from you. Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Why Work for Busy Bees? If you’re passionate about early learning, Busy Bees is the place to be. Although we are part of a global organisation, our company was founded by three families looking for better, more enriching childcare. Three decades later, we still keep the same values at heart. We know that we couldn’t do what we do without the important people in our teams. We invest in our people and work with them to build career pathways that inspire. Join our whānau If you’re looking for a new centre to call home, Busy Bees Aotearoa may be the perfect fit for you! Early Childhood Education attracts a special type of person. You might be known for being creative, nurturing or task focused… but ultimately, you were attracted to Early Childhood Education because you care deeply for the education of the littlest members of our communities. We understand this because this is what attracted us too. We want to gather people who care deeply about quality and empower people to bring their unique gifts and talents together for the benefit of our tamariki. We value each member of our team, and know that by supporting you in your journey, you’ll be the positive and supportive influence in theirs. Across the variety of our centres and Support Office we’re looking for passionate, dedicated, and committed people who love what they do.
