Georgia Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced RVT or RVS to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in East Orange, NJ. Position Highlights $45/hour Healthcare Benefits + 401k 1 year contract with extension opportunities Contract Dates: 5/1/2026-4/30/2027 Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm Typically low volume compared to hospitals Key Responsibilities & Skills Perform routine and specialized vascular ultrasound studies Capture, document, and report imaging findings in the EMR Communicate preliminary results with providers Review consults and assist with patient scheduling Maintain equipment, supplies, and ensure quality imaging Ensure patient safety and infection control compliance Respond to patient and provider inquiries Provide basic patient care and assist in emergency situations Knowledge & Technical Skills Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and disease processes Experience performing and interpreting a wide range of vascular studies Proficiency in Doppler imaging, waveform analysis, and intracranial exams Skilled in ultrasound equipment operation and image optimization Ability to track and document disease progression Requirements Full & Unrestricted Certification/Licensure (Any State) RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) required Clean Criminal Record/Malpractice History
