We have a growing orthopaedic caseload and perform some advanced soft tissue procedures in-house too. Our purpose-built rehabilitation and stem cell referral clinic includes a hydrotherapy underwater treadmill and qualified veterinary physiotherapists within the team. If you are a nurse who enjoys utilising their skills across all aspects of practice, we offer a varied caseload! Our RVNs have a share in the roles of theatre, inpatient care and consults as well as optional opportunities to be involved in seasonal farm work.
We are a fun, friendly and supportive team who invest time in nurturing the skills and knowledge of our colleagues. We are passionate about utilising our nursing team to their full potential, including schedule 3 procedures and plan to introduce nurse led dentals as well as expand our range of nurse consults this year. Our orthopaedic caseload is growing and so we would welcome a candidate with an interest in this area. We have access to a huge bank of Linnaeus CPD including the AVA accredited Anaesthesia, RECOVER, ECC and Leadership Development.
As an approved training practice, we currently support 3 SVNs and would love to hear from RVNs who have enthusiasm for teaching/mentoring to join our fantastic team of 5 clinical supervisors.
This will be a great position for a nurse who enjoys the varied challenges that general practice brings with the satisfaction of having the time to do the job well. The successful candidate will be someone who has a positive attitude towards work and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
The position involves a 40-hour, five day week with 1 in 7 weekends for OOH emergency work only – the practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays so no routine appointments or ops! We would also welcome applicants who are looking for more flexibility in their working week and would be open to discussions about what that would look like.
