JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous veterinary technician experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with animal catheterization, restraint techniques, and critical care is a plus.
  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment used in veterinary medicine.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating compassion for animals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
  • Perform blood / urine collection with routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-rays.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide proper animal restraint and handling during procedures to ensure safety for both the animal and staff.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
  • Assist in Anesthesia, IV catheter placement, intubation and monitoring
  • Participate in dental COHAT and dental radiology
  • Assist in kennel duties, ensuring proper care and comfort for all animals in the facility.
