Key Responsibilities Triage primary care appointments with accuracy, clarity, and appropriate urgency Provide gentle, compassionate patient handling during exams and treatments Assist with routine diagnostics, treatments, vaccinations, and preventive care procedures Perform blood draws, run in-house laboratory tests, and accurately maintain medical records Assist with dental cleanings, extractions, dental radiography, and postoperative dental care Support day-to-day clinic flow, including occasional front desk tasks such as scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering phones Work closely with veterinarians and fellow team members to ensure high-quality, consistent patient care About You Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required At least 1 year of experience in a primary care/general practice setting Proficient in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and routine diagnostic techniques Skilled in anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, and basic bandage/splint application Strong communicator with a warm, client-focused approach Detail-oriented, team-minded, and comfortable working in a steady, busy general practice environment Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $27 – $34/hr Supportive, close-knit culture with opportunities for learning and growth About Insight Veterinary Wellness Center Team: 12 DVMs, 12 RVTs, 33 support staff Facilities: 2 ORs, dental suite, radiology, ultrasound, PRP, Cellfie, in-house lab, Ligasure & cautery A hybrid hospital with both Emergency and Primary Care services Access to visiting specialists and one of the few community blood banks in California A collaborative, supportive workplace that values teamwork, excellent patient care, and professional development If you’re ready to join a supportive team where your role truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
