We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. As a Veterinary Technician, you will work alongside veterinarians to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions, ensuring the well-being of animals in our care.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong laboratory skills with the ability to perform diagnostic tests accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both animals and their owners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for animals and their welfare.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
  • Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, to aid in diagnosis.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health during procedures and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for each animal treated.
  • Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including equipment sterilization.
  • Provide compassionate care to animals and support to their owners throughout their visit.
